My back just almost went out. Rassinfrassingarblegrunt...

I worked out anyway. 30 minutes on the cybex elliptical and 30 minutes on the treadmill. I took a rest in between. No weights: I'm too scared to do that with my back threatening me. Just took a hot shower and am going to lie down with a heating pad. I suppose I love my life. I am free to take care of me!

Theodore and Aïda are fighting at night when it is time for me to go to bed. It has gotten so bad I have to take one or the other into my room and shut the door against the other one. Last night was Aïda's turn to snuggle with mommy. Theodore wriggled his way into G's sympathy and got to spend the night on daddy's bed.

I don't know what to do about their fighting. Theo won't let Aïda on the bed when he's on it, and if she is on it already he jumps up and runs her off. She in turn has managed to scratch him up quite a bit. Honestly! It's like having feuding 2-year olds in the house.

Good Morning, Lisa. My back is usually sore, but once in awhile it really goes out on me and I limp around for a week. Motrin is keeping the pain level manageable. Sorry you are struggling.

Becareful with your back! Is it your kitty's fighting. Its probably jealousy. Last night at my sisters, the 2 dogs went at when I was petting the one. I have to manuver and pet them both or its war. LOL pets are as bad as kids

Sya & Gizmo usually each take a different side of the bed -- i kinda sleep in the middle of a full size bed ... has it always been like that or just started recently? these 2 usually manage to get along, but Gizmo gets jealous once in a while though he really does get more attention ... who knows what goes on in feline heads? hope your back feels better.

Here's what works for me...in the kittie depart...My boys don't fight much. They do wrestle, but if I hear a hiss or even a hint of discord, I snap a finger and say in my Sybil voice. KNOCK IT OFF!...It's usually Jazzpurr and Coupurr, but sometimes Coup and Cosmo. I try and let the bully know he's out of line. I fawn over the one who got messed with. To be honest, there just isn't much cat fighting, They love each other and play tag most of the time.

Fatty sleeps at my feet, but most of the time, they settle in near by. I sure hope it stays this way! Did it happen just recently?

Sounds to me like the answer is to send one fo them to bed with G. Fuzz has been getting cold at night and has been coming ot bed with me and stretching out full length snuggled up against me. Every time I move she growls. Last night she got to growl in her chair all by herself. I need my sleep.

Our eldest surviving tomcat, Val, The Most Beautiful Cat in the World, engaged all summer in threats and fights with his two ginger nephews, Pizarro and Roosevelt, who were apparently trying to take over his dominant position. He got into a pattern of staying out except to come in every few days and hit the kibble dish. Now that it's freezing out and he can't find liquid water out there, Val stays in most of the time, sleeps on my bed with Koji and me, and often one or both of the now-peaceful orange guys. They worked it out, somehow.
